Pisgah
National Forest Located in our immediate area, this 1,076,000
acre park hosts a wide variety of activities such as white water
rafting, rock climbing, cave exploration, horseback riding, camping,
hiking, mountain biking, and much, much more.
Carowinds
A premiere amusement park just a 2 hour drive away. The park
includes a wide variety of rides, attractions, and concerts. Many of
our students say the trip to this this theme park trip is the
highlight of their stay in the United States.

Sports
The area offers a wide variety of venues for sports
enthusiasts to participate. From area YMCAs, to organized local
community Parks and Recreation Services, there are many
opportunities to participate in both indoor and outdoor soccer,
baseball, basketball, softball, and many other sporting activities.

Smokey Mountains National Park Ridge upon ridge of forest
straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee in Great
Smoky Mountains National Park. World renowned for its diversity of
plant and animal life in, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and
the quality of its remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain
culture, this is America’s most visited national park with nearly 10
million visitors each year.

Town In The Sky Step back into the Wild West at this timeless,
family-fun destination located in a beautiful mountain setting
